Operator Fact-Check Checklist

This is the checklist every operator page has to clear before it goes live. It exists to stop the two failure modes that make affiliate content untrustworthy: repeating an operator's own marketing as fact, and asserting things about licensing, payouts or availability that nobody actually looked up.
Each row records a source and the date it was checked. Anything we cannot verify is either marked as undisclosed or left out — never estimated.
1. Licence and company
- Licensing authority named on the site, and the licence or registration number as stated.
- That number looked up in the regulator's own public register — not in an aggregator or a badge image.
- Legal entity name matched to the register, since brand names frequently differ from licence holders.
- Licence status and validity dates confirmed as current.
- Whether the licence is held directly or through a white-label / group arrangement.
- Registered address and, where published, corporate ownership.

2. Terms and conditions
- Version and date of the terms we read, saved for our records.
- Bonus terms: wagering multiplier, what it applies to, game contribution rates, max bet cap, expiry, max cashout.
- Dormancy and account-closure clauses affecting balances.
- Clauses permitting confiscation or voiding of winnings, and the stated triggers.
- Governing law and dispute-resolution clause.
- Whether terms allow unilateral changes without notice.
3. Payments, limits and currencies
- Coins and networks actually offered in the cashier, not merely listed on a landing page.
- Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal per coin.
- Withdrawal limits per transaction, day and month, and how they vary by tier.
- Who bears the network fee, plus any flat processing fee.
- Whether balances are held in crypto or converted, and how the conversion rate is sourced.
- Observed behaviour from our own test deposits and withdrawals, logged with coin, amount and timestamps.
On payout speed
We publish observed stage durations from named test transactions with dates, never an averaged promise. We do not describe any withdrawal as instant, because operator review time is variable and outside the operator's marketing control.
4. Verification and privacy
- Stated KYC triggers: thresholds, risk flags, and whether verification can be demanded mid-withdrawal.
- Documents requested in practice during our own testing.
- Source-of-funds policy, where one is published.
- What the privacy policy says about retention and third-party processors.
- Whether the operator advertises itself as anonymous, and whether its own terms contradict that.

5. Eligibility and geo-restrictions
- Restricted-country list as published in the terms, with the date read.
- Whether the operator states that it blocks by IP, by declared residence, or both.
- Consequences the terms attach to misrepresenting location, including forfeiture.
- Whether the licence permits the markets the site appears to accept.
We never state that an operator is available or legal in a country. We report what the operator's own terms say, dated, and tell readers to verify their own eligibility.
6. Support, complaints and player protection
- Support channels available, and response times we measured ourselves.
- Formal complaint route published in the terms.
- Dispute-resolution or ADR body named under the licence, and whether it accepts player complaints directly.
- Responsible-gambling tools present in account settings: deposit, loss and session limits, reality checks, cooling-off, self-exclusion.
- Whether limit increases carry a cooling-off delay.
- Whether the operator publishes age restrictions and links to support services.
7. Editorial and commercial separation
Before publishing
Every claim carries a source and a check date. A second editor signs off on licence, legal and payout statements. Any commercial relationship is disclosed on the page, above the first outbound link, and every affiliate link is marked rel="sponsored".
What commission cannot do
It cannot change a score, remove a negative finding, or delay a correction. Scoring criteria and weights are published in our review methodology, the monetisation model is described in our affiliate disclosure, and errors are handled under our corrections policy.
Common questions
- Why publish the checklist rather than just the reviews?
- Because a reader cannot judge a review without knowing what was actually checked. Publishing the checklist also lets operators and readers hold us to it when we miss something.
- What happens when a fact cannot be verified?
- It does not get published as a fact. We either state that the operator does not disclose it, or leave the claim out entirely. We do not fill gaps with what is probably true.
- How often is a review re-checked?
- On a schedule, and out of cycle whenever a reader report, a terms change or a licence change reaches us. Every review shows its last-reviewed date so you can judge how current it is.
